To Your Health Bakery will play host to Steven Tran, the winner of the Food Network’s Season 10 Spring Baking Championship, from noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 21.
To Your Health Bakery, 1263 Creekshire Way in Winston-Salem, is owned by Anna Simeonides, who competed against Tran on the show.
“We just became very best friends, and have kept in touch since the show,” Simeonides said of Tran.
She said she and Tran will collaborate on some “one-time-only” special baked goods during the visit. Also, Tran will recreate his winning cake from the finale of Spring Baking Championship.
Tran, based in Toronto, has his own line of chocolates, which will be for sale in limited quantities that day at To Your Health. Customers also will be able to meet Tran and get autographs.
