The No. 12 Georgia Bulldogs are set to host the No. 7 Tennessee Volunteers in a do-or-die matchup.

The Bulldogs’ playoff hopes are on the line, and we can capitalize on their urgency.

Georgia quarterback Carson Beck has sputtered over the last two games, throwing three interceptions in a win against Florida and following it up with another interception while averaging just 6 yards per completion in a loss to Ole Miss.

Beck’s struggles have put this Georgia offense into question, and the Bulldogs will get no breaks against this Volunteers defense.

Tennessee ranks fifth in EPA per dropback and first in EPA per rush allowed.

If Beck can’t get into a rhythm early, Tennessee will force Georgia off the field repeatedly as the Vols also rank first in third and fourth down success rate allowed.

However, the Bulldogs can stay in this game because of the play of their defense.

The Volunteers run the ball at the ninth-highest rate in the country, feeding star running back Dylan Sampson.

Sampson has run all over opposing defenses this season, rushing for 100 or more yards in all but one game.

His dominance also has shown up on the scoreboard in the form of 20 rushing touchdowns.

Betting on College Football?

Although if there’s one thing we can count on, Kirby Smart’s defense will be prepared to stop Sampson.

Georgia ranks seventh in rush success rate allowed, holding opposing ball carriers to just 3.4 yards per carry.

Expect this game to be a rock fight early and take the first-half Under.

The play: Georgia-Tennessee first-half Under 24 (-115, bet365).
