CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Harvest & Hope: A Delicious Way to Support Hurricane Relief in Western NC

If you’re looking for a way to enjoy an unforgettable meal and give back to a meaningful cause, The Goodyear House in NoDa is cooking up something truly special.

On today’s Charlotte Today, we welcomed Chef Chris Coleman, a six-time Food Network star (who famously beat Bobby Flay!) and the executive chef of The Goodyear House, to talk about the upcoming Harvest & Hope Dinner, happening October 28 at 6:30 PM.

This one-night-only culinary experience is more than just a dinner, it’s a collaboration with Cheeni Indian Food Emporium in Durham, and it’s raising money for the NC Community Foundation’s Western NC Disaster Relief Fund, which continues to support hurricane recovery efforts in the mountains.

Chef Chris Coleman sharing: “a lot of people don’t realize how much need still exists in Western NC. This dinner is our way of something to help, and getting to be creative while doing it.”

Get ready to be amazed! The dinner features a star-studded culinary lineup:

The event brings together powerhouse culinary talent:
🍽️ Chef Chris Coleman – Executive Chef at The Goodyear House and 6x Food Network competitor
🍽️ Chef Preeti Waas – 2x James Beard Award nominee from Cheeni
🍸 Mixologists Sean Teague & Amy Waas – Both App State grads pairing each course with a custom cocktail

Here’s what’s on the menu:
