The hot stove has cooled off and now it’s finally time to play ball.

On Friday, Feb. 21, the Grapefruit League gets underway, which means the 2025 regular season is just a stone’s throw away.

In the interim, MLB fans in Florida will get to see 15 new-look squads play together for the first time.

Most notably, the New York Mets — who surprised the world in 2024 and advanced to the NLCS after a dismal 28-37 start — are taking the field at their home Port St. Lucie Clover Park with $765 million signee Juan Soto as well as new starting pitchers Clay Holmes and Griffin Canning.

Their crosstown rival Yankees, who lost Soto in a free agency battle over the offseason, come into their Tampa-based Steinbrenner Field boasting high-profile new acquisitions Max Fried, Paul Goldschmidt and Cody Bellinger.

And that’s just two of the teams headed to the Sunshine State this February and March.

We’re also excited to see how Jurickson Profar fares on the Braves roster, what happens with the Red Sox‘s tense Alex Bregman/Rafael Devers third base situation and whether or not the upstart Tigers still have the juice that carried them into the postseason.

What has us most jazzed about all the baseball in Florida though is just how cheap it is to catch some of these preseason contests.

After a bit of digging, our team found Grapefruit League tickets going for as low as $3 before fees on Vivid Seats at the time of publication

That’s (significantly) cheaper than a carton of eggs.

In a world where inflation news dominate the headlines, this is a refreshing breath of fresh air.

Want to find the best prices on tickets to see your team whether that’s the Yankees, Mets, Braves, Red Sox, Tigers, Phillies, Orioles, Marlins, Pirates, Cardinals, Rays, Blue Jays or Nationals?

Keep reading, MLB fans.
