Guy Fieri is an American restauranteur, author and Food Network star who is best known for his role as the host of the hit show “Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives.”

On this show, Fieri travels around the U.S. to visit unique, local restaurants and share the stories behind the establishments, as well as highlight cuisines and the people who craft specific dishes.

The show focuses on showcasing small, family-owned restaurants throughout the U.S. that have a special aspect, whether it’s culinary specialties or unique cooking techniques.

Guy Fieri visits Louisiana restaurants on most recent 2025 season of “Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives”

Over the course of 51 seasons of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” Fieri has visited over 20 restaurants in Louisiana. In the show’s most recent season in 2025, Fieri revisited the state and tasted the cuisine of four South Louisiana restaurants.

Phil’s Oyster Bar & Seafood Restaurant in Baton Rouge

The first season 51 episode of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” to feature Louisiana cuisine was the episode “Flavortown Finds,” which aired in April 2025. In this episode, Fieri visited Phil’s Oyster Bar & Seafood Restaurant in Baton Rouge, where he tasted delicious charbroiled oysters and savory cheesecake made with Creole crawfish.

Dempsey’s Poboys in Baton Rouge

Next, Fieri visited Dempsey’s Poboys in Baton Rouge on the episode “Sandwich Shenanigans,” which also aired in April 2025.

Iverstine Butcher in Baton Rouge

Then, Fieri made his way to Iverstine Butcher in Baton Rouge for the episode “Sandwiches, Seafood and Sweets,” which aired April 2025.

Cou-Yon’s in Port Allen

On the episode “Southeast Standouts,” which aired in May 2025, Guy Fieri visited Cajun barbecue restaurant Cou-Yon’s in Port Allen. Here, Fieri tried a loaded baked potato topped with crawfish étouffée and shrimp, as well as a specialty brisket poboy with a side of rice dressing.
