Guy Fieri’s Boston Kitchen + Bar, the chef’s only remaining Boston restaurant, has shut down after just over three years in business.

The restaurant, which was located downtown, appears to have quietly closed last month, as reported by the blog Boston Restaurant Talk.

Fieri’s team did not immediately respond to request for comment Tuesday morning, but the restaurant’s voicemail confirmed that it has closed. Its website is also down.

The celebrity chef and restaurateur, who is known for his television roles on the Food Network, previously owned another eatery in Boston — Guy Fieri’s Tequila Cocina — which closed down in 2023.

What happened to Guy Fieri’s restaurant in Boston?

Guy Fieri’s Boston Kitchen + Bar was located at 186 Tremont Street in Boston, sitting along Boston Common.

It was managed by Big Night Entertainment, which did not immediately respond to request for comment about the closure Tuesday morning.

The eatery originally opened in December 2021 and was one of more than a dozen Guy Fieri’s Kitchen + Bar locations around the globe.

According to Fieri’s website, the Kitchen + Bar restaurants are a “casual dining experience” featuring “signature recipes.”

While it’s unclear why the establishment shuttered, Fieri’s restaurants have experienced mostly mediocre reviews, with a 2022 Business Insider review of the Boston location saying the food “wasn’t necessarily memorable.”

“Guy Fieri’s Kitchen and Bar might not be where I come on a first date, or if I’m trying to impress visiting family with Boston’s food scene, but it was a perfect location for what the occasion was: a silly night out with friends,” the review said.
