President Donald Trump’s eldest granddaughter becomes a legal adult today (May 12), and like her famous grandpa, she really loves golf. The YouTube vlogger and social media maven has lived in South Florida for about five years now, playing golf at the same private school attended by the children of golf legend Tiger Woods.

Though Kai Trump heads into her senior year in fall 2025, she already has plans for college − and beyond.
The 18-year-old daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, who is dating Tiger Wood, said she will staying in South Florida for college, announcing in fall 2024 that she committed early to play golf at the University of Miami and will don the iconic Hurricanes’ green and orange in fall 2026.
The oldest of Donald Trump’s 10 grandchildren − though another is on the way “any day now,” courtesy of her pregnant aunt, Tiffany Trump, and Michael Boulos − has made several public appearances since her speech at the Republican National Convention in July 2024 ahead of the presidential election. This is unlike her 19-year-old uncle, Barron Trump, the youngest of Donald Trump’s children, who has made few public appearances since his father’s election and inauguration.

She is the oldest of President Donald Trump’s 10 grandchildren and the oldest child of Donald Trump Jr.’s five children. Today, Monday, May 12, 2025, she celebrates her 18th birthday.
She shares her grandfather’s love of golf. She plays competitively and in August 2024, announced her commitment to stay in Florida for college and play golf at the University of Miami after she graduates from the Benjamin School in Palm Beach County, Florida.
“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Miami,” Kai wrote in an August 18, 2024, Instagram post. “I would like to thank my mom, Vanessa, and my dad, Don, for always supporting me through my journey. I would also like to thank my great team for getting me to this point. I would like to thank my grandpa for giving me access to great courses and tremendous support… I am super excited to be a cane and represent the University of Miami. Gooo Canes!”
And in February 2025, Kai Trump became the highest-valued player in girls’ high school golf, after announcing her first lucrative endorsement deal with big-name golf equipment company TaylorMade.

The exact terms of Kai Trump’s deal with TaylorMade were not disclosed, but there is some information about her name, image and likeness valuation. She also has another NIL endorsement, in addition to the February golf equipment deal that propelled her valuation to more than $1 million.
“Golf has always been a massive part of my life and is my biggest passion. I always aspire to be a leader and a positive figure on and off the golf course,” Kai Trump’s SportsRecruits biography says. Kai Trump will graduate from The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, in 2026.

Kai Trump was born and mostly raised in New York, but now lives in Jupiter, Florida, with her mother, former model Vanessa Trump.

According to Kai Trump’s SportsRecruits profile, she moved to South Florida when she was 13 years old. As of May 12, 2025, Kai Trump currently plays golf and studies at the Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens.
Charlie Woods, son of golf legend Tiger Woods, who is currently dating Vanessa Trump, also attends and plays golf at The Benjamin School. Charlie Woods helped their varsity golf team win a state title when he was a freshman.
Other famous golfers have also sent their children to The Benjamin School, including Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman.

The Benjamin School’s elementary and middle school campus are in North Palm Beach on Ellison Wilson Road, appropriately located near Golfview Road and wedged between two golf courses.

If Kai Trump isn’t spending her Monday birthday at school, she could choose to spend her birthday on one of her favorite golf courses, which is nearby: Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
“My favorite golf course is Trump International — that’s the Palm Beach, Florida, one — just because I grew up on it. I think it’s beautiful and it’s my home course, so I love that one,” Kai Trump said in a “Q&A” YouTube video that she posted in December 2024.
