Christina Haack’s latest trip to Paris appears to be a mix of business and pleasure.

A source confirms to Us Weekly the HGTV star traveled to Reims, France, because she’s making her own champagne.

“She’s partnering with a vineyard in Reims, the champagne region of France, to create her own high-end champagne,” a source exclusively tells Us. “She’s always had a passion for champagne and was inspired to create a brand after a recent visit to the Veuve Clicquot vineyard last year.”

During her trip, Haack, 41 shared a preview of her latest business venture. As seen on her Instagram Story, The Flip Off star enjoyed blind tastings to make sure her champagne was up to her standards.

“Been waiting my whole life for this,” she wrote via her Instagram Story on Friday, January 17. “My champagne line launches fall 2025. More to come.”

Haack didn’t travel alone for her latest trip. The businesswoman was photographed with her new man, Christopher Larocca, at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday, January 14.

It appears the pair had a romantic getaway in Paris after Haack posted a video of the Eiffel Tower followed by the “pretty details” of a cocktail bar.

Regardless of who she travels with, Haack’s appreciation for champagne has been documented via social media over the years. In October 2024, she shared a glimpse of her trip to the Veuve Clicquot vineyard.

“Veuve Cliquot at @veuveclicquot 🥂🧡,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “My vision board / trip goal since I was 21 checked off the list. ✔️.”

She also celebrated her 40th milestone birthday in July 2023 with a French Riviera-themed party.

“Absolutely every detail was perfect,” Hack said of the bash, which featured a sushi buffet, Funfetti cake and custom Veuve Clicquot champagne bar.

Once Haack returns home to Orange County, California, she will be back to work preparing for The Flip Off. Premiering January 29, the HGTV show will feature Haack facing off against ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, in a quest to flip a house for the biggest financial gain.

The team that comes out on top wins ultimate bragging rights and a first-class vacation paid for by the loser.

“There have been so many times throughout all of this that I’m like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe we did that,’” Christina shared in an Us Weekly cover story earlier this month when teasing the show. “I’m proud of all of us.”
