Brandon Nimmo’s numbers last season in several key offensive categories were among the worst of his career.

It’s a fact the Mets outfielder can’t dispute as he looks for a rebound 2025, but there were aspects of his play last season in which he took pride.

In a phone conversation with The Post two weeks ago — as the Mets prepared to introduce Juan Soto at a Citi Field press conference — Nimmo revealed he received a platelet rich plasma (PRP) injection in his left foot at the conclusion of last season to help manage his plantar fasciitis. Nimmo began working out at the Mets’ minor league complex last month, but still wasn’t running. He expects to be full throttle by spring training.

He’s coming off a season in which he produced a .224/.327/.399 slash line with 23 homers and 90 RBIs. Nimmo’s on-base percentage was the lowest of his career, and his batting average and slugging percentage each were the second-lowest of his career.
