At 4:15 p.m. ET, Kamario Taylor’s 2-0 Mississippi State Bulldogs visit LaNorris Sellers’ 2-0 South Carolina Gamecocks in a hotly-anticipated SEC matchup at Columbia, SC’s Williams-Brice Stadium.
This will be the first time these two clubs have met since Sept. 23, 2023. In that back-and-forth, edge-of-your-seat contest, South Carolina prevailed and won 37-30 after being tied 20-20 at halftime.
Oddsmakers predict they’ll continue their nail-biter winning ways this afternoon as well.
The State reports “The betting line for the SEC opener has gone down since it opened on Sunday. South Carolina opened as a 7.5-point favorite, and that’s now down to 3.5 points, according to the College Football Insider consensus line that factors in multiple sportsbooks.”
