She’s all glamour, he’s in the slammer.

Lovebird Saffron Boswell shells out nearly $40,000 a year on beauty procedures to look drop-dead gorgeous for FaceTime dates with jailbird boyfriend, Luke.

“It helps to keep it exciting,” Boswell, 26, a content creator from the UK, told Kennedy News. “I get regular treatments like Botox, a vampire facial and skin boosters.”

“In this situation you need anything that you can hold onto,” said the Gen Z, “and I think it helps having something to look forward to.”

Well, it’s better than looking at a life sentence.

Luke, 39, however, has only been on lockdown for a little more than three years due to a non-violent crime.

Boswell, who’s been romantically linked to the man in the clink for the past eight years, hopes he’ll be set free in the next 18 months.

“It’s been extremely difficult,” she moaned. “We did try to end things for a good six months at one point but we ended up getting back together again because we realized we just couldn’t be apart.”

And while a few pesky cell bars, barbed wire fences and prison guards might be in between them, the barriers can’t stop Boswell from becoming a bombshell.

What a love story: the lawless and the flawless.

Boswell’s in the growing number of beauty buffs spending big bucks on Botox and other invasive enhancements in the name of staying young and hot.

The pursuit of perpetual perfection has become a global phenomenon amongst Zoomers and millennials, hoping to preserve their looks with costly cosmetics touch-ups.

In fact, a staggering 75% of plastic surgeons recently reported a surge in patients under age 30, according to the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

While some wannabe sirens are getting nipped, knifed and jabbed for anti-aging purposes, others, like Boswell, are doing it for love.

Alice Jane, a beauty professional from Australia, has achieved social media acclaim by sharing all that she’s done to keep her romance with ex-con boyfriend, Kyle, on track during his eight-month stint in the slammer for dealing drugs.

“When your partner first goes in, you genuinely feel like your whole life is over,” the brunette explained to her more than 10,000 TikTok viewers.

Boswell has, too, shared the details of her long-distance relationship with Luke online, offering viral visuals of her pre-prison date primps.

“Glow up with me to see my partner in jail,” said the Brit in a clip that’s garnered over 973,000 clicks.

Per the post, Boswell opted for masseter, chin and forehead Botox injections, lip filler, ombré eyebrow tattooing, hair extensions and coloring treatments, and faux eyelash installations.

She insists that the massive makeover makes her feel good about herself. Still, digital detractors flood the belle’s comments with hateful rebukes, saying she shouldn’t be preening for a prisoner.

But Boswell doesn’t let the cyber shade rain on her parade.

“The large perception is that it’s just embarrassing or it’s a waste of time and money,” she told Kennedy of the internet’s negativity. “I think if that affected me then I wouldn’t post anymore, but I really couldn’t give a damn.”

“It’s laughable,” she added. “I do just think that these people are incredibly small-minded.”

For Boswell, shelling out her hard-earned cash on sprucing up is a form of coping with Luke’s prickly predicament.

“I’m making an investment in myself and it helps me to feel good as an individual.”

She schedules her extensive, expensive self-care appointments around her one-on-ones with her caged sweetheart.

“I try and time my treatments so that they fall before a visit,” said Boswell. “I even canceled a visit because my eyebrow girl canceled on me, and then she rescheduled it on a visit day and I was like, ‘No, I need to get my brows done’.”

She dolls up for both in-person and on-camera rendezvous with her imprisoned paramour.

“I usually go to the hairdressers and get a blow-dry, if I’ve got time then I’ll go and get a wax but if not then I just have a full-body shave,” said the pinup. “I’ll do a full face of make-up, pick a cute outfit, put some perfume on, and then set my tripod up.”

“The in-person dates are a lot better because we get to be together physically, but I do believe that Facetime is more relaxed because it’s just the two of us,” she continued. “I get dressed-up even if I’m just Facetiming him from the sofa.”

To her, spending intimate time with the inmate — no matter the circumstance — is about always looking her best.

“In my head it’s the same thing as if we were going on a real date,” she said of their virtual meetups. “If I was just in the same old pajamas from the morning then I’d feel like a bit of a scruff.”

And all of the hard work and money she put into looking good isn’t lost on Luke.

“He’s always complimentary of my appearance,” Boswell gushed. “He’s always experienced this ever since we first got together so for him I think it’s just normal.”
