Inside Ashley St. Clair’s $15K-a-Month New York Apartment Where She Claims She Is Raising ‘Elon Musk’s 13th Child’ After Baby Bombshell

Elon Musk has made no secret about his desire to personally increase the world’s population—but he has been surprisingly tight-lipped over conservative author Ashley St. Clair‘s claim that she gave birth to his 13th child in 2024.

St. Clair, 26, made the shocking claim on X—the social media platform that billionaire Tesla founder Musk, 53, owns—on Feb. 14.

“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world,” she wrote in the post on Valentine’s Day. “Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.

“I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment,” she added, while calling for the media to “honor our child’s privacy.”

In a follow-up interview with the New York Post, the Republican firebrand opened up about the circumstances of her alleged relationship with Musk, the DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) adviser, while posing for photos in the $15,000-a-month New York City apartment where she is now raising the baby she claims he fathered, along with her firstborn child, whom she welcomed with an ex-partner.

Musk—who is due to sit down with President Donald Trump for an on-air interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity on Feb. 18—has yet to publicly respond to the right-wing influencer’s claims. However, on Feb. 17, the Tesla founder shared a seemingly pointed message.

He wrote: “I am endlessly amused by the infinite indignities I suffer on the very platform that I own.” The tech mogul then pinned the comment to the top of his social media feed.

St. Clair’s representative, Brian Glicklich, also shared a statement on the platform in which he claimed that the pair had been attempting to reach an agreement about their child for “some time.”

“Ashley & Elon have been privately working towards the creation of an agreement about raising their child for some time,” he wrote. “It is disappointing that a tabloid reporter, who repeatedly ambushed Ashley and her family, made it impossible to complete that process confidentially.

“We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his parental role with Ashley, to end unwarranted speculation, and Ashley trusts that Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly, in the best interests of the wellbeing and security of the child they share.”

While speaking to the New York Post, St. Clair claimed that she was forced to keep her pregnancy and her child a “secret” at the behest of the SpaceX founder.

“I was told to keep it secret. I was being asked to keep it a secret forever,” she told the outlet, which noted that she refused to provide any proof that Musk is the father.

St. Clair went on to claim that the billionaire “provided her” with an opulent abode in the Financial District of Manhattan near City Hall.

The property, which boasts three bedrooms and two bathrooms, features large windows, wood flooring, and sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline.

According to records, the apartment was last leased in April 2024 for $ 15,350 a month. St. Clair’s social media images indicate that she has been living there since at least May of that year—a few months before she claims she gave birth to Musk’s child.

Inside the building, there is a large swimming pool, a golf area, a gym, a theater room, and a children’s playpen.

The 26-year-old former writer at The Babylon Bee was reportedly one of the first people to get a Tesla Cybertruck, according to the Daily Mail, which claimed that a fellow resident revealed they “weren’t surprised” by her allegations about Musk.

However, the outlet added that staff at St. Clair’s condo building have yet to see any sign of Musk.

Neighbors also told the publication that St. Clair lives with her two children and has a full-time nanny.

Although lavish, her luxury lifestyle can be lonely, particularly because she says she was forced to spend much of her pregnancy alone, St. Clair admitted.

“I was completely isolated during my pregnancy. Every part of my career and everything I used to do I couldn’t do anymore. I was told not to tell anybody,” she claimed.

In addition to her lavish abode, the 26-year-old also claimed she was offered a security detail.

St. Clair has shared images of her lavish apartment on her X profile, most of them showing off her stunning looks and love for the Republican Party.

The conservative influencer claimed that she agreed to keep her and Musk’s alleged child a secret for their son’s safety, adding that she decided to ultimately share the news with the world because she had “violent stalkers who started threatening” her older child.

She went on to allege that she informed Musk that she would be revealing the news to the world, but says that he “ignored it.”

She told the Post: “It is very hard to understate how much I am processing right now. I am sad that my hand was forced by the media to do this now. But there is also a sense of relief because I have been forced to live in secrecy for almost a year of my life.

“I cannot explain the kind of primary pain you feel as a mother and you’re talking to people and they ask you about the one kid, and you have to lie and carry this burden and secret. You have to lie to people you love.”

The mom of two noted that she wants her child to live a normal life, adding that she has “never” taken her 5-month-old son outside for a walk.

“Almost every relationship in my life would be bastardized and disingenuous because I couldn’t tell them what was going on.

“My son has never taken a walk outside—in five months. I have never been able to take my baby for a walk. I was terrified that someone would see I had a baby and it would get out,” the former writer added.

St. Clair also claimed that she and her son have met some of Musk’s other children. However, she says that she has yet to meet their mothers.

She told the outlet she has met Musk’s mother, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Maye Musk, but noted that she was unaware of the pregnancy.

St. Clair declined to share her son’s name and noted that being a “good mom” motivates her decisions and that her “kids are my whole world.”

If her claims about Musk providing her with such a luxurious abode are true, it tells a very different picture from the one that his own property portfolio does.

Although Musk has a staggering net worth of $458 billion, his real estate holdings—or lack thereof—reveal no hint of his wealth.

Despite multiple reports suggesting that the billionaire is buying up megamansions and compounds from Florida to Texas, the only property he is confirmed to have owned and lived in over the past few years is an incredibly modest three-bedroom, ranch-style house that sits just a block from his SpaceX Starbase facility in the Brownsville, TX, neighborhood of Boca Chica.

The businessman revealed that he had moved into the property in 2021, stating in a post on X—which he now owns—that he was renting the $50,000 home from SpaceX.

“My primary home is literally a ~$50K house in Boca Chica/Starbase that I rent from SpaceX. It’s kinda awesome though,” he said. The only other house he owned at the time was an “events house” in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Boca Chica home Musk was referring to is located on a grassy street that runs down to the perimeter of Starbase and has several similar properties dotting it.

It serves as his primary residence, a status that was reconfirmed in November when Musk visited a nearby polling station to cast his vote in the 2024 presidential election, having spent months campaigning on behalf of Trump.

Before Musk began work on Starbase in 2014, Boca Chica was known primarily as a sleepy coastal town with a small population that was largely made up of retirees. However, interest in the area soon soared as hordes of SpaceX employees set up shop there. The company built multiple homes in the area, as well as the enormous Starbase facility.

He then doubled down on his commitment to the locale in July when he announced that he is relocating both SpaceX and X from California to the Brownsville area.

The news was met with much excitement from Brownsville Mayor John Cowen Jr., who voiced his delight at having Musk help to put the area “on the map.”

Musk has been investing heavily in Austin real estate for his Tesla headquarters, which he moved to the outskirts of the Texas city from its original base in California in December 2021.

In October, reports emerged that he was planning to build a $35 million compound in the Texas city, where he was allegedly planning to house all 11 of his children, as well as at least two of their three mothers.

Musk has welcomed 12 children since 2002; however, his firstborn died of sudden infant death syndrome at just 10 weeks old.

He went on to father five more children with his first wife, Justine Wilson: transgender daughter Vivian, from whom he is estranged, and her twin, Griffin, both now 20; and triplets Saxon, Damian, and Kai.

The entrepreneur then welcomed three children with singer Grimes between 2020 and 2022, X Æ A-Xii, 4, who is known as “X”; Exa Dark Sideræl, 2, who is known as “Y”; and Techno Mechanicus, who was born in 2022 and goes by “Tau.”

He shares his other three kids with Shivon Zilis, an executive at his Neuralink company.

The Times claimed that the businessman had purchased three mansions in the Austin area—for a total of $35 million—and that he had “told people close to him in recent months” that he believed the arrangement would allow his younger children to “be a part of one another’s lives,” while enabling him to “schedule time among them.”

Musk later denied these claims.
