President Donald Trump is less than a week into his second term.
But it’s never too early to start betting on 2028.
The 2024 road to the White House was a wild one. Trump enjoyed a big lead during the summer months and his odds went through the roof after a failed assassination attempt on July 12 in Butler, Pennsylvania. That lead was over President Joe Biden, who bailed out of the race a few weeks after the shooting and was replaced by Vice President Kamala Harris.
Harris clawed back into the race and in August, took the lead over Trump. But a few weeks before the election, Trump regained the lead and was a huge favorite in the betting odds by election day. He went on to win the race.
2028 presidential election
As Trump begins his term, it’s time to look at who are the favorites for the 2028 election. As we saw last year, things can change in a hurry. But if you think one of these candidates has a chance to win the White House, now isn’t a bad time to place your bets. As you’ll see, you get pretty good odds.
