Jets interview Dolphins assistant Mathieu Araujo for defensive coordinator position

The Jets have interviewed their second candidate for their vacant defensive coordinator position.

Dolphins defensive backs coach Mathieu Araujo, according to reports.

They previously interviewed Davonte Jones, the Vikings’ defensive backs coach, for the position that was vacated when Steve Wilks was fired during the season.

The Jets are likely waiting out a number of other candidates as the litany of head coach openings get filled.
