“The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart mocked “Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski for their hypocrisy in rushing to meet with President-elect Donald Trump — after the pair parroted Democrats who called him a danger to democracy.

Stewart played a clip of the MSNBC hosts explaining their decision to travel to Mar-a-Lago during his opening monologue Monday night.

“For those asking why we would go speak to the president-elect during such fraught times, especially between us, I guess I would ask back — why wouldn’t we?” Brzezinski said.

Stewart quipped: “Because you said he was Hitler.”

The comedian also slammed congressional Democrats who have cozied up to Trump since he defeated Vice President Kamala Harris on Nov. 5.

“I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Republicans are playing chess, and the Democrats are in the nurse’s office because they glued their balls to their thighs,” Stewart railed.

Scarborough and Brzezinski were seemingly oblivious to the backlash they have received from Democrats during their show on Tuesday.

“Yesterday I saw for the first time what a massive disconnect there was between social media and the real world because we were flooded with phone calls from people all day, literally around the world, all very positive, very supportive,” Scarborough said.

“But once in a while I would get a text or call from someone going, ‘Oh, man, I hope you’re doing okay,’” he continued.

He noted a call he got from frequent MSNBC guest Eddie Glaude.

“I’d go: ‘Are you on Twitter?’ And he goes, ‘I am.’ I’d go, ‘Well I’m not so we’ve had a good day. Mika had a wonderful event and it’s fantastic.’ All of us will do the best we can do and we’re all working towards a better America.”

The married Trump critics have taken heat since revealing their sit-down with the former and future president — the first time they had met with him in seven years, according to Brzezinski.

They had trashed Trump on their show in the lead-up to Election Day. Brzezinski called him a “hateful, racist, bigoted, tired, aging … branding-obsessed narcissist.”

In September, Scarborough said “it’s not a reach” to compare Trump to Hitler.

But on Friday, the co-hosts met with Trump at his Florida property, where Scarborough said they “talked about a lot of issues, including abortion, mass deportation, threats of political retribution against political opponents and media outlets.”

“Oh, I bet you really laid down the gauntlet, Joe,” Stewart mocked. “I bet you walked in there and just let him have it, didn’t you, Joey?”

Stewart then performed “a one-act play called ‘Joe and Mika Go to Mar-a-Lago.’”

“‘Mr. President, your rhetoric is outrageous,’” Scarborough said, imitating the MSNBC hosts. “‘I cannot in good conscience — oh, are those macarons?’”

He tore into Democratic representatives who tried to put a positive spin on the election results instead of acknowledging the defeat, calling it a “s—show.”

“We’ve learned nothing!” he shouted.

Stewart laid into comments from Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) celebrating the diversity among newly elected House Dems, including the first trans member and the youngest member elected to the House from New Jersey.

“Wait ’til you hear that this record-breaking young phenom from New Jersey is 38 years old! 38 years old!” Stewart said. “How far are we going with this? ‘Oh, in Illinois, we elected a ginger!’”
