The Post’s Stefan Bondy had previously noted that Clarkson would sign for the veteran minimum if he cleared waivers and a deal materializes with the Knicks.

Clarkson, a former second-round pick who just finished his 11th season, averaged 16.2 points per game last year with the Jazz.

He won the league’s Sixth Man of the Year award following the 2020-21 campaign.
