Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen couldn’t help but laugh while sharing a Hailee Steinfeld pet peeve.
“Anytime she tries to, like, if I got something in my beard or my mustache and she goes to reach for it I always, like, bark and snap,” Allen shared while touching his beard during a Wednesday appearance on the “Centered on Buffalo” podcast.
“It’s something my dad did, you know? We’d be little kids touching the whiskers on his face and he’d be like ‘argh,’ you know? So every time I do that, it gets her every single time and I can’t not do it. It’s like, it’s there for the taking and I have to take it. So that’s one thing.”
When asked by Eric Wood, host of the “Centered on Buffalo” podcast, if he has a pet peeve about the actress, Allen smirked and said, “Absolutely nothing.”
The former NFL MVP joked, “What are you trying to do here? What are you trying to do to me?”
Allen and Steinfeld welcomed their first child together recently, with the “Sinners” star announcing the happy news in a Substack titled “Special Delivery” on April 2.
“Our baby girl has arrived!!” Steinfeld wrote in the newsletter. “We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
Allen and Steinfeld first announced her pregnancy in a joint Instagram post in December, including a video of the quarterback kissing his wife’s belly while outdoors in the snow.
The pair, first photographed together in Manhattan in May 2023, had been dating for roughly two years when he proposed to Steinfeld in Malibu in November 2024.
The pair tied the knot in California last May.
The Bills finished the regular season at 12-5 and fell to the Broncos in the Divisional Round of the playoffs in January.
Allen is entering his ninth NFL season, all with the Bills.
