Bills quarterback and dad-to-be Josh Allen was beaming Sunday while discussing wife Hailee Steinfeld’s pregnancy.
Speaking to reporters after Buffalo’s thrilling 35-31 rally over the Patriots, the reigning league MVP gushed over the support he and Steinfeld had received since announcing on Friday that they’re expecting their first child.
“I’ve known for a long time, so it’s not that crazy to me,” said Allen, who received well-wishes from the likes of teammates and stars such as Larry David, a guest at the couple’s California wedding in May.
“But obviously the love I’ve received from teammates and friends — you know it’s a really cool, special moment in my life and my wife’s.”
Allen added that Steinfeld is “my favorite teammate.”
The lovebirds, both 29, shared the exciting news in a joint Instagram post that included a video of the quarterback kissing his wife’s belly while outdoors in the snow.
The “Sinners” actress, who celebrated her 29th birthday Thursday, wore a sweater that read “Mother.”
Steinfeld also shared the news in her “Beau Society” Substack newsletter, including it as part of her “29 moments I love this year” for her birthday.
Allen proposed to the Oscar-nominated actress in Malibu last November.
The pair, first photographed together in Manhattan in May 2023, had been dating for roughly two years when he got down on one knee under an arch of pink and red roses next to a body of water.
