You never know what to expect from a Kanye West rant on X or elsewhere. The 47-year-old producer made a sexual comment about Kamala Harris amid a sea of tweets and later doubled back to apologize to her kids.

On Saturday (Feb. 1), he wrote, “I used to want to f**k Kamala until she lost. I don’t f**k loosers anymore.” He later deleted the tweet and joked about how he was told to do so. “The democrats made me take the loser post down,” he wrote. “Naw I’m kidding. Dey don’t control black people no more. Trump 4 life.”

Less than an hour later, he had a change of heart and apologized. “Kamala seems like a very nice human,” he wrote. “I just wanna say sorry to her kids.” What inspired these tweets? Well, one would have to figure out what inspires any of Ye’s random tweet furries. Perhaps it had to do with the fact that his friend Donald Trump defeated Harris in the November 2024 presidential election. Maybe it’s the recent success of his independent YZY company. Nonetheless, he owned up to his potentially harmful statements and moved on.

Earlier this year, Kanye West targeted Adidas for seemingly trying to stifle the success of Yeezy following his split with the popular sportswear company. “Members at adidas Stop doing this Stop doing your moves to hold me back,” he wrote on Instagram in a now-deleted post. “Our partnership is done You’re a 60 billion dollar company that froze my accounts Now I’m back on my feet (no pun intended) and I’m not going to stand for this (no pun again).”

He continued, recalling how he was allegedly mistreated. “Yall tried to intimidate and oppress me everyone remembers I had major issues with adidas because of design theft and oppression before ‘the tweet.’” His rant was accompanied by a screenshot of a Google search where the Adidas website showed up before his YZY site.

Shortly after the post, Adidas removed all of his products from its website. While this appeared reactionary, they previously stated it was their plan all along to sell all Yeezy stocks by the end of 2024. West and Adidas split up after his anti-semitic rants in 2022, which lost him multiple major deals to the point where he was no longer valued at a billion dollars.
