Karl-Anthony Towns is really about to ring in the new year in style — quite literally.
On Christmas Day, the Knicks star and longtime girlfriend Jordyn Woods announced their engagement through a shared Instagram post full of pictures of the happy couple.
Woods cleverly captioned the post “Marry Christmas” with a Christmas tree and ring emoji.
Towns, 30, and Woods, 28, stood on a gorgeous balcony overlooking both the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge in New York.
The five-time All-Star popped the question while wearing a khaki-colored jacket with a shirt and tie underneath. Woods stunned in a white silk skirt and white fuzzy jacket as she received a gorgeous emerald-cut ring.
Towns and Woods met through mutual friends and celebrated their five-year anniversary in May, and purchased a $14 million home in Los Angeles last September.
On the anniversary, the Knicks were also playing Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals.
Woods, who has been with Towns throughout his NBA career, was locked into the game in her post for the special day.
“The focus today is the playoffs!!!” Woods, wrote, including an image of the couple drinking red wine at dinner on her Instagram Story. “But happy 5 years to us… time has just flown by but as also felt like we’ve been together forever!”
During the game at Madison Square Garden, Woods sat courtside with Olympic gymnast Suni Lee along celebrity row.
Woods has also been seen alongside Towns this season, including when the Knicks won the NBA Cup over the Spurs in Las Vegas earlier this month.
Heading into Thursday’s game, Towns was averaging 22.3 points per game this season on 47.7 percent shooting.
