It seems Kelly Clarkson no longer wants to find someone underneath the tree this holiday season.
In a promo video for Clarkson’s new “When Christmas Comes Around … Again” album, a row of four stockings hangs on a fireplace mantel. One of the stockings says “Mom” at the top, while two others have the names of Clarkson’s two kids — daughter River, 10, and son Remy, 8 — on them.
The fourth stocking simple reads “Nope.”
Fans responded to the hilarious image to note that Clarkson, who finalized her divorce from Brandon Blackstock in 2022, appears to be thriving as a single woman.
“NOPE!!! I’m dying over here!!! Love it! Thanks for sharing!!” wrote one.
“So healing!! Mom River Remy and Nope is so cute and adorable,” added another.
“Kelly got her voice and self back!! Celebrate girl….live it!!” shared someone else.
In December 2023, Clarkson revealed that she wasn’t ready to date again during a conversation with Shannen Doherty on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
When the former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star, who was going through her own divorce at the time, said she was game for falling in love again, Clarkson replied that she was “not there.”
“I am still in the stage of, like, really enjoying me,” she told Doherty, who died of cancer at age 53 the following year.
Months later, Clarkson and guest Valerie Bertinelli, who finalized her divorce from ex-husband Tom Vitale in 2022, acknowledged they were doing fine since their respective splits.
“The last time we saw each other — two years ago. Can you believe how far we’ve come?” Bertinelli asked the singer during an April 2024 episode of Clarkson’s show.
“We were both at the same time going, ‘Oh, my God, this is really hard,’” Bertinelli added.
“But fresh new start,” Clarkson happily interjected, while giving the former Food Network star a high-five.
