Experience
Kia is a proud Floridian and accomplished chef. At the age of 24, she worked as a sous chef before taking over as executive chef at a bustling Manhattan restaurant. She was named one of New York Times “16 Black Chefs Changing Food in America” for her work as a young trailblazer. Shortly after, she left her post to work as Cherry Bombes first Culinary Director, where she was named “Rookie of The Year”‘
She hosted the second season of Nike Athlete’s Cookbook before being honored in Forbes 30 Under 30 Food and Beverage 2021. Her recipes and videos can be found with major media companies like Netlfix, Bon Appetit and CNN.
Kia is currently authoring a debut cookbook highlighting the diversity of southern cuisine in Florida.
