It was a back-and-forth Game 1 at Madison Square Garden, but the Knicks used one furious rally to take a 1-0 series lead.

Thanks to a 21-0 run in the fourth quarter, the Knicks took a 123-112 win over the Pistons on Saturday evening.

The Pistons took an eight-point lead with under 10 minutes to go in the final quarter.

But the Knicks, sparked by Cam Payne’s huge frame, pulled away for the victory.

He scored 14 points and had three treys as a spark plug off the bench.

Jalen Brunson had a team-high 34 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby each had 23.
