Lady Vols basketball started Kim Caldwell’s second season at the helm with a 100-point exhibition win.

No. 9 Tennessee crushed Columbus State 148-48 in an exhibition at Food City Center on Oct. 29. The Lady Vols surpassed 100 points with 1:29 left in the third quarter, and they shot 54% from the field and 42% on 31 3-pointers.

Mia Pauldo, Ruby Whitehorn, Jersey Wolfenbarger, and Nya Robertson led Tennessee with 18 points each, and Janiah Barker logged a double-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds, six steals and four assists. Talaysia Cooper and Jaida Civil also scored in double figures, and Zee Spearman led the team with 11 rebounds.

Tennessee forced 45 turnovers and scored 71 points off them, and it outrebounded the Cougars 67-33. The Lady Vols showed their depth with 76 bench points, and they scored 38 second-chance points off 32 offensive rebounds.

The Lady Vols will open the season against No. 8 NC State on Nov. 4 (4 p.m. ET, ESPN2) at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
