It seems Lakers power forward Jake LaRavia might be in need of an emergency trip to the dentist this week.

The 24-year-old showed on Sunday that after he was hit in the face during Los Angeles’ road matchup with the 76ers, he nearly lost one of his front teeth.

In a snap shared on his Instagram page, LaRavia’s chomper looked like it was hanging on by a thread. Blood could be seen pooling around the gum as well.

The injury occurred in the first quarter of the big matchup at Xfinity Mobile Arena, when LaRavia was clocked in the mouth. He immediately covered his face in pain and bolted to the locker room.

He ultimately returned to the game, and helped lead the Lakers to a 112-108 victory, logging four points and two rebounds in 17 minutes.

Afterward, he appeared to be in good spirits despite the grisly wound, as he wrote in a caption on the picture, “Mood.”

“Great dub to end road trip,” he added.

The win moved the Lakers to 2-1 on during their week away from Crypto.com Arena, and it also showed even though LeBron James’ historic streak of double-digit scoring nights was snapped on Dec. 4, he can still take over a game.

James scored 10 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter of the contest to lift the Lakers to the win. He added seven rebounds, six assists, a steal and a block.

Up next for James, LaRavia and the rest of L.A. is a home game against the Spurs on Wednesday.
