Pennsylvania was the center of the 2024 presidential election campaign, and the Lehigh Valley was no exception. Never before has the region seen so many visits by the presidential candidates and their surrogates in one campaign.
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump held two rallies in the region, including one a week before Election Day, and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala made a campaign visit the day before the election. Her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz made two visits to the region as well.
Earlier in the year, President Joe Biden also made a visit to the Valley. The election also drew top politicians and entertainers to the region on behalf of both campaigns.
