“Most Friday nights look better under neon or stadium lights,” but country singer Luke Bryan better get used to watching his football on Saturdays after his son, Bo Bryan, committed to playing college football at Georgia.
The “Most People are Good” singer’s son announced on Sunday his commitment to play football for Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs less than a week after Bo Bryan received an offer from the program.
Bo Bryan also received offers from East Tennessee State, North Alabama, UT Martin and Austin Peay, among others.
“It meant everything to me and a dream come true when I got that offer,” he told USA Today. “I always knew that if I ever got the offer, then that’s where I was going to be.”
Bo Bryan is rated No. 107 overall pocket passer in the 2027 class by ESPN, and 247Sports ranks him as the No. 143 QB prospect in the class.
Bo Bryan plays for Battle Ground Academy in Tennessee, which won the II-AA state title in 2025. He was a backup last season before taking over the starting role this fall during his senior season, passing for 2,006 yards, 30 touchdowns and three interceptions in eight games.
He suffered a season-ending injury earlier in the month.
Bo Bryan has been a longtime Georgia fan, similar to his dad, and has made several trips to Athens, Georgia.
In an interview with The Tennessean in August, Bo Bryan joked that his dad’s music knowledge is better than his football knowledge.
“He’ll sit in there during meetings with the coaches and we’re talking football,” Bo Bryan said to the outlet. “And we’ll walk out and he’ll be like, ‘Did you know what they were talking about?’ I’ll be like, ‘Yeah, dude. Did you?’ And he’s like, ‘Heck, no.”
