Reality TV star Mama June Shannon has some thoughts about her daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird’s decision to join OnlyFans and offer explicit adult content to her subscribers.
“All money ain’t good money,” Mama June, 46, told TMZ of her daughter’s new venture in an interview published on Saturday, August 7.
According to the outlet, the former Toddlers & Tiaras star went on to admit that Pumpkin, 26, is a “grown woman” who is capable of making her “own choices,” adding that she “hopes her daughter made more than $10K from the explicit content” she shares online.
Pumpkin announced her foray into online sex work in March, offering her fans an instant discount on her content.
“I Just joined the blue spicy app,” she wrote via Instagram along with a sultry photo of the former reality star wearing lingerie and standing under a stream of water. “Link in my bio. First 20 people get 10% off the first month.
In another post, Pumpkin wrote, “Click the link in my bio & join the spicy side of me. First 20 people get a freebie.”
The content creator charges $25.00 per month for access to her explicit content, which includes intimate moments with her boyfriend, Darrin Kitchens, who has been supportive of her career move from the start. (The WeTV personality began dating Kitchens following her split from ex-husband Josh Efird in July 2024. Pumpkin and Efird, 29, who share kids Ella, Bentley and twins Sylus and Stella, finalized their divorce a few months later.)
When speaking to TMZ back in March, the former Honey Boo Boo star revealed the reason why she decided to join the controversial online platform — she was watching her friends make “pretty good money” after joining the service themselves.
“The world has seen tits and ass from everyone,” she added at the time.
Pumpkin’s decision to join OnlyFans is not the first time the reality star has raised eyebrows. Her relationship with Kitchens made waves in the wake of her divorce after it was revealed that Kitchens is Efird’s cousin.
“If you would’ve told me a year ago that we’d be building a life together, we would both probably laugh it off,” she wrote via Facebook in August 2025. “But this man has continuously the past year changed his perspective, his ways, his entire lifestyle, & made sure to make me feel like I’m on top of the world every single day. The man you were a year ago IS NOT the same man you are today and I am always so so proud of you & the growth you continue to make not only for yourself but for our relationship.”
The Mama June: Family Crisis star continued, “So many have an opinion about us or you, but they don’t know you like I do as cliche as that may sound. All the helping hands with the kids, all the countless projects for our home , all the endless spoiling, & just all the love you have to give in general. Forever grateful for getting to experience this type of love & growth with you 🥹💕! 143 always.”
