A man has been arrested and booked for felony vandalism after allegedly crashing a car through the front gate of Jennifer Aniston’s Bel Air home.

A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson tells Entertainment Weekly that officers responded to a call Monday afternoon claiming that a burglary suspect drove a vehicle through the gate of a residence on the 900 block of Airole Way in the tony Westside neighborhood.

While authorities did not confirm the name of the resident per department policy, PEOPLE confirmed via property records that the home in question belongs to Aniston. PEOPLE also reports that the Friends actress was home when the incident occurred, and that the suspect sustained minor injuries in the incident.

Representatives for Aniston didn’t immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.

According to the LAPD, private security detained the suspect, Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, while waiting for police to arrive, and he was taken into custody without incident and booked for felony vandalism.

Jail records reviewed by EW indicate that Carwyle is 48 years old, though police told PEOPLE the suspect was “approximately 70 years of age.” Local news station KABC reported that the 911 caller described the suspect as around 70.

Authorities told KABC that the suspect has a minor criminal history, and that there was no indication yet whether he was specifically targeting Aniston.

Per KABC, Carwyle had not been formally charged as of Tuesday morning, and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office will likely decide on charges after police submit their case later this week.

Aniston bought her Bel Air home in 2011, and told Architectural Digest in 2018 that she was somewhat put off by a “very dramatic entry sequence” and worked to make the home her own. “Aesthetically, it was the furthest thing from what I wanted, but I immediately had the sense that it could work,” she said. “It’s hard to describe, but I felt a connection.”

The Morning Show star said that she collaborated with renowned interior designer Stephen Shadley to reimagine the property to align with her sensibilities. “If I wasn’t an actress, I’d want to be a designer. I love the process,” she said. “Every corner you turn, you have an experience. Everywhere you look, you get a vista. We worked very hard to get that flow right.”
