While Matthew Stafford was on the field honing his powers as a quarterback, his family was together in the stands cheering him on as his Los Angeles Rams defeated the Arizona Cardinals, 45-17, on Sunday, December 7.

His four daughters seemed to love every minute of it, and his youngest, five-year-old Tyler, had her own Taylor Swift-inspired way to celebrate one of her dad’s three touchdowns. (Matthew, 37, and his wife, Kelly, 36, also share twins Sawyer and Chandler, 8, and Hunter, 7.)

The NFL posted a video of the moment via Instagram on Sunday, as Sawyer, Chandler, Hunter and Kelly all screamed and cheered in support of Matthew, while Tyler broke into the dance from Swift’s 2025 song “The Fate of Ophelia.”

Fans immediately recognized the choreography, lighting up the comments section with praise for Tyler’s moves.

“The little one is 100% dancing to ‘The Fate of Ophelia,’” one fan wrote.

“The Ophelia choreo brings a tear to my eye🤣My girrrrrl TyTy!,” added another.

The song seems to be on the family’s minds lately, as Kelly posted a carousel to her Instagram on Thursday, December 4, also using the hit from Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl album. And while watching four girls under 10 years old at a three-hour sporting event could feel like a cold bed full of scorpions for some, Kelly was right there with her daughters, showing just as much energy.

Though fans only saw a few seconds, few could have guessed that Kelly needed to send her kids to an etiquette class just a month ago. She revealed in November that her three eldest attended cotillion, a class designed to teach middle school-aged children proper etiquette and manners.

She has also talked about the challenges of parenting on her “The Morning After” podcast, which is now on hiatus.

“This has been an ongoing thing for the last couple of months where the attitudes have come into play,” she said during a March episode. “I’m struggling to parent it. I am an enforcer. I am probably the mean parent. Matthew has now turned also. We tried the ‘good cop, bad cop’ situation that we always are. Clearly it’s not working because nothing has changed.”

Kelly added that she even threatened to cancel the twins’ birthday party earlier this year.

“We told them, ‘Birthday party is off because we cannot honestly celebrate you guys right now just because of the way you’re behaving,” she continued. “We love you, but I don’t think you should have a celebration.’ That was really how we both felt, Matthew and I.”

Then in August, she admitted that Tyler had become “a little girl that I don’t recognize.”

“Nothing is working. I’m exhausted,” Kelly said. “And I told her, ‘It’s not fair to your sisters that all of my energy right now is going to you every day because you are acting up. You are causing issues. I don’t know if it’s for attention. Tell me, do you need more from me?’”

Those struggles seemed to be in the rearview mirror on Sunday, helped by Matthew’s monster performance, which moved the Rams to 10-3 on the season.
