It’s Inauguration Day, and Trump family are sharing the excitement with their fan base.

From Donald Trump to Ivanka Trump to Tiffany Trump, here’s what the Trump family members are posting on social media about Jan. 20, 2025, or Inauguration Day.

When was Donald Trump president?

Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election against Democratic challenger Hilary Clinton to become the 45th president of the United States.

Trump lost the 2020 presidential election to President Joe Biden and left for his private club Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, on Jan. 20, 2021, Inauguration Day.

On Nov. 5, 2024, Election Day, Trump won the 2024 presidential election against Democratic challenger Vice President Kamala Harris and was re-elected as the 47th president of the U.S. Inauguration Day is Jan. 20, 2025.

Donald Trump got the party started early − he hosted President Trump’s Celebratory Victory Rally in Washington, D.C., a day before Inauguration Day, on Jan. 19, 2025. He posted videos and photos on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram. The festivities included a performance of the Village People’s most popular song, “Y.M.C.A.”

What is the Melania Meme? First Lady Melania Trump posts about Crypto ahead of Inauguration Day

First Lady Melania Trump used her social media presence to promote her best-selling memoir, “Melania.” On X and Instagram, Melania Trump posted a photo of her smiling with her hands in prayer in front of her face. The caption reads: “The official Melania Meme is live! You can buy $Melania now.” The post includes a link to the melaniameme.com site, which is a digital collectible.

What is the Melania Meme? According to the site, “Melania memes are digital collectibles intended to function as an expression of support for and engagement with the values embodied by the symbol MELANIA. and the associated artwork, and are not intended to be, or to be the subject of, an investment opportunity, investment contract, or security of any type. https://melaniameme.com/ is not political and has nothing to do with any political campaign or any political office or governmental agency.”

As of Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, or Inauguration Day, Melania Trump did not post about Inauguration Day festivities on her social networks.

Donald Trump Jr., son of Donald and the late Ivana Trump, has kept a steady stream of excited posts (and occasional burns) on Instagram and X about Inauguration Day and his father’s second term in office.

If you’re looking for fresh posts related to his love life, however, keep scrolling: Donald Trump Jr. typically posts about his five children with ex-wife Vanessa Trump, his father’s politics, his interests or podcasts. Donald Trump Jr. has not posted anything recent about his ex-fiancee Kimberly Guilfoyle or new girlfriend, Palm Beach, Florida, socialite Bettina Anderson, as an Instagram Story, Instagram Reel or Instagram posts. Donald Trump Jr. has posted plenty of Reels of his eldest daughter, Kai Madison Trump, and her adventures on the green − she’s an avid golfer (like her grandfather) and intends to attend the University of Miami in fall 2026.

Ivanka Trump, daughter of Donald and the late Ivana Trump, kept a low profile during the 2024 presidential election. Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, previously served as senior White House advisers during Donald Trump’s first term as president. The couple took a step back to focus on family obligations.

However, that doesn’t mean the eldest daughter of Donald Trump wasn’t excited about Inauguration Day.

Ivanka Trump posted a series of photos on Instagram and X ahead of Jan. 20, 2025. On Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, Ivanka Trump shared with her fans intimate photos of the White House and memories about her time visiting there with family. “As the Inauguration approaches, I find myself filled with gratitude as I reflect on special moments with my father and family from eight years ago, when we first stepped off Air Force One upon arriving in Washington, D.C.,” Ivanka Trump wrote in an Instagram post and Instagram Story on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025. “Witnessing my father become the 45th President of the United States, lighting Shabbat candles with Jared in the Lincoln Bedroom on Inauguration Day, helping Theodore crawl for the first time in the White House State Dining Room, watching Joseph play with his little brother aboard Air Force One, and seeing Arabella sneak through the secret door of the Resolute Desk are memories I will cherish forever.”

Eric Trump, son of Donald and the late Ivana Trump, posted on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, 2025, to his social networks: “Today we save America!” The executive vice president of the Trump Organization lives in Jupiter with his wife, Lara Trump, former co-chair of the Republican National Committee, and their two young children, Luke and Carolina.

Eric Trump posted an Instagram Reel of his children boarding Trump’s private jet en route to Washington, D.C., for his father’s “eve of Inauguration Day” victory rally and photos of him and his wife at the White House during the Trump family’s candlelight dinner.

Tiffany Trump, daughter of Donald Trump and ex-wife Marla Maples, has been keeping her followers updated with posts about her father’s second inauguration. Tiffany Trump, who is married to entrepreneur Michael Boulos, is pregnant with their first child. She posted on Jan. 20, 2025, Inauguration Day a photo of the couple from the night before: “The candlelight dinner (heart emoji) Today is the day!”

Interestingly, on Inauguration Day 2021, when President Joe Biden was sworn into office and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden officially became First Lady of the United States, the Trump family was celebrating Tiffany Trump’s engagement: Michael Boulos proposed to Tiffany Trump at the White House on Jan. 19, 2021. The couple married in Palm Beach, Florida, at Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump’s private club, on Nov. 12, 2022.

One Trump family member who won’t be posting publicly about Inauguration Day? Donald Trump’s only child with Melania Trump, Barron Trump. The 18-year-old Barron Trump, the youngest and tallest child of Donald Trump, does not have an active social media presence likely due to his mother’s protective nature.

There is only public social media account for Barron Trump, and as of Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, or Inauguration Day, it has 33,000 followers and only one following, @MelaniaTrump, his mother.

On Inauguration Day 2017, Jan. 20, 2017, when his father was first sworn in office, Barron Trump was 10 years old. He and his mother did not live in the White House immediately after Inauguration Day as he was attending elementary school in another state. Barron Trump and Melania Trump officially moved in to the White House in June 2017, six months after his father took office.
