WASHINGTON — First lady Melania Trump revealed Wednesday that a two-part docuseries offering an intimate look at her life and responsibilities inside the White House will be released later this year.

The 56-year-old told “Fox & Friends” the upcoming project will be “very different” from the recent documentary “Melania,” which followed the first lady during the 20 days leading up to her husband’s second inauguration.

“It’s more conversation one-on-one with me,” Melania Trump explained. “There’s some private questions that I will answer that people never heard before, so it’s kind of exciting.”

The first lady did not reveal when the series would be released, but hinted at a November debut.

Shortly before President Trump’s second inauguration, Melania inked a $40 million deal with Amazon for the rights to documentary projects during her husband’s term of office.

On top of the distribution rights, Amazon spent an estimated $35 million on marketing “Melania” ahead of its Jan. 30, 2026, release.

“Melania,” directed by Brett Ratner, grossed a total of $16.7 million after pulling in $7 million on its opening weekend — the best box office performance by a documentary on its opening weekend in at least 10 years.

The film was savaged by mainstream movie critics, who described it as an “extended piece of branding” or “reputation management” rather than a full account of the first lady’s story.

Movie industry analysts echoed the sentiment, saying it functioned as a political investment by Amazon boss Jeff Bezos.

However, President Trump praised the documentary in February, calling his wife a “big movie star.”

“I always say it’s trouble because I always say there’s not room in one family for two stars,” Trump told reporters at the time. “The theaters are all packed. Women, especially, then go back, and they see it two or three times, four times.”

Marc Beckman, the first lady’s senior adviser and agent, told PEOPLE in February that Melania would continue to release film and television titles, likely focusing on lifestyle themes and catering to female audiences.

“Think fashion, art, music, sports and entertainment,” Beckman said, adding that new content will also involve “areas like technology, family, health and wellness.”

During Wednesday’s Fox News appearance, the first lady also promoted her “IMPERIA” initiative, which “Fox & Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt described as “Davos for executive women,” ahead of a trip to Wall Street to ring the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange.

“We achieved a lot in those 20 months,” said Melania, who recently returned to Washington after spending much of the summer at her husband’s Bedminster, NJ golf club. “And I’m just looking forward. I’m very focused. I’m very detail-oriented and I’m very selective of what I do.

“You don’t see me everywhere,” she added, “but behind the scene, I’m working non-stop.”

The Office of the First Lady did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
