First Lady Melania Trump showed her allegiance to her husband on Saturday at the White House, holding hands in coordinating tuxedoes to enter the National Governors Association Evening Dinner and Reception they hosted.
Melania Trump paired her tailored menswear-inspired Ralph Lauren tuxedo with classic black pointed-toe stiletto pumps, a favorite shoe of hers. Her husband opted for shiny patent leather loafers to host the White House dinner attended by the country’s governors.

Pumps are a classic women’s shoe style that have remained a red carpet favorite for their versatility and elegance. She often wears classic high heel styles from Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin — especially the So Kate pumps — in black, red or white, or other colors that coordinate her outfits. She wore her favorite black shiny Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps to vote in Florida in the 2024 presidential election, alongside her husband. She typically wears her heels tall and slim, but is also a fan of ballet flats from Roger Vivier, Christian Louboutin and Chanel.
The National Governors Association Evening Dinner and Reception hosted by the Trumps in the East Room of the White House marked the first time Melania Trump returned to the Presidential residence in a month. She has been reported to be spending the majority of her time in New York, where her 18-year-old son Barron is attending his freshman year of college at NYU.
