The Mets filled their outfield need with a big trade on Tuesday night.

New York acquired center fielder Luis Robert Jr. from the White Sox, The Post’s Jon Heyman confirmed.

ESPN’s Jeff Passan reported infielder Luisangel Acuna and minor league pitcher Truman Pauley are heading to Chicago.

Robert, 28, came up as a top prospect and was finished second in the American League Rookie of the Year voting in 2020.

He was an All-Star and Silver Slugger in 2023 but has struggled the last two seasons, finishing with a sub-.700 OPS in each campaign.
