Mike Waltz is on his way out as President Trump’s national security adviser, a source familiar with the matter told The Post Thursday.
The former Florida congressman, 51, was at the White House Thursday morning, and gave no indication that his job was in jeopardy.
Waltz became embroiled in controversy last month after he admitted to mistakenly added Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg to a Signal group chat of administration officials, during which sensitive information about strikes targeting Yemen’s Houthis was shared.
Trump did not remove Waltz from his position at the time and said he had his full backing.
