Miss Idaho is preparing to head to the Miss America Pageant this month.
Miss Idaho 2024, Madison Andreason, will be going to the Miss America Pageant in Orlando, Florida December 31 through January 5.
She says she’s excited to be able to spend New Years with 51 other women and their families.
Madison says it will be an amazing way to kick off the New Year.
There will be a Miss Idaho send-off party tonight (Thursday, December 12) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Wood River room in the Idaho State University Student Union building.
Madison says she started preparing the moment she was crowned back in June.

“I knew that the work has begun and I’ve been working every single day, not only on my talent but on my interview and also getting out in my state, I mean that’s the back-bone of being Miss Idaho, is the service behind Miss Idaho and so just making sure that I’m really reaching out to my community, reaching out to my state and not just my hometown of Pocatello, but going to Idaho Falls, going to Boise, going all around and serving all kinds of people throughout my state,” says Madison Andreason, Miss Idaho 2024.
Madison says one of her favorite projects this year has been partnering with ‘Healthy City USA’ on her service initiative ‘Get Up and Get Out.’
