A local woman who was just recently crowned Miss Idaho, is talking about her community service initiative.
Ellie Daniels danced her way to Miss Idaho 2025 last month.
She says she’s been very busy since receiving the new title.
She’s currently working on becoming a nurse practitioner.
Her community service initiative is ‘The Greatest Gift’ and is all about supporting the mental health of mothers.
“Showing them how much they’re appreciated. I started this when I was doing me CNA clinical’s in labor and delivery and didn’t realize how much of a vulnerable position women were in when going through childbirth and so I wanted to bring light to that,” says Ellie Daniels, Miss Idaho 2025.
Ellie says she hopes to reach all 44 counties in Idaho and carry her platform across the state.
She will be leaving for the Miss America pageant at the end of August.
