NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Murfreesboro native, Carley Vogel, also known as Miss Tennessee, just finished competing in the 2025 Miss America Pageant.

Vogel secured third place (second runner-up) in Sunday night’s competition.

She finished behind Miss Texas, Annette Addo-Yobo, and the winner, Miss Alabama, Abbie Stockard. Vogel will be rewarded $10,000 in scholarship for her placement, according to the pageant’s website.

“Carley Vogel is a Senior at Middle Tennessee State University, obtaining a Bachelor of science in Music Business and a minor in Musical Theatre. She is an advocate for Liver health and living organ donation.

Since the age of 12 she has partnered with the American Liver Foundation to educate people on how to live a healthy lifestyle and how to maintain liver health. Carley is passionate about Organ Donation and is partnered with Donate Life Tennessee, to bring awareness to the over 100,000 people awaiting organ donation.

Carley is an accomplished vocalist, performing Opera, Broadway, Country, and almost every genre of modern and classical music. She has performed the National Anthem over 200 times, including on an ESPN broadcast and recently at an Atlanta Braves game.

She is very excited to serve as Miss Tennessee, and to compete at Miss America next year.”
