Myles Garrett acknowledged on Tuesday his blockbuster trade to Los Angeles has been a win for his relationship with Chloe Kim.
The new Rams superstar — who was acquired on Monday in a swap with the Browns — touched on the the topic during his introductory press conference after he was asked about his connections to Hollywood.
Garrett first explained that his dad’s from LA, so he has plenty of roots via that tie. Then, he delved into his famous girlfriend’s affiliation with the city.
“Chloe,” Garrett said, “her being from here and us being in the same city is obviously something that I love and appreciate.”
Kim, a professional snowboarder and two-time Olympic gold medalist, was born in Torrance, which is located just a few miles south of Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium. It’s such a known fact about her, many NFL fans believed she might have played a role in getting Garrett from Cleveland to LA.
One X user wrote shortly after news of the trade broke that they were convinced Kim “had something to do with this.”
Another added that they were sure Kim was “responsible for this.”
Garrett and Kim have been dating since 2025, and while she’s been largely quiet on her boyfriend’s new employer thus far, she did share Garrett’s heartfelt farewell letter to the Browns on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.
