Golden Globes host Nikki Glaser spent her opening monologue addressing every elephant in the room, from the 2024 presidential election to Diddy‘s sex trafficking charges.

Glaser was praising Zendaya for her stellar performances in Dune: Part 2 and Challengers when she added that the latter drama was “more sexually charged than Diddy’s credit card.”

The comedian quickly doubled down on her daring joke as the audience laughed. “I know, I’m sorry. I’m upset too, the after party’s not gonna be as good this year. But we have to move on,” she added, referencing the infamous parties Diddy threw – known as “freak offs” – that were allegedly a hot bed of drugs, sex, and abuse, according to the grand jury indictment.

Glaser then set her sights on Conclave star and cooking Stanley Tucci.

“A Stanley Tucci freak off just doesn’t have the same ring to it,” she added. “No baby oil this year, just lots of olive oil.”

Tucci raised an eyebrow at the jokes but his Conclave co-star Ralph Fiennes certainly seemed to be enjoying it.

Diddy is currently facing charges of charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force and transportation for purposes of prostitution, per BBC.

If convicted, he could face 15 years to life in prison.

The alleged “freak offs” were central to the investigation into Diddy’s alleged crimes. The music mogul allegedly subjected victims to “physical, emotional, and verbal abuse” to coerce them into participating in sex and drugs during these events.

Glaser has been killing it as a first-time host. She kicked off the evening by roasting Timothée Chalamet, Benny Blanco, and Martin Short, and the night has only just begun.
