Friends, or something more? Pedro Pascal is finally addressing dating speculation after he and Jennifer Aniston were spotted having dinner at West Hollywood’s exclusive Tower Bar. The pair reportedly spent three hours dining together before being photographed leaving the Sunset Tower Hotel together recently.

“Jennifer and I are very good friends,” Pascal told Entertainment Tonight at the second season premiere of The Last Of Us, shutting down any speculation of a romance. “I got to have dinner on Saturday. It was a fun martini dinner,” he explained.
While speaking to Access Hollywood on the same red carpet, Pascal offered more insight into their friendship, noting that Aniston is the ideal friend to have during a “crisis.”
“She’s that person to everyone,” Pascal revealed. “If you’re in a party setting and you make eye contact with Jen, she just knows exactly what’s going on with you and knows exactly how to make you feel.”
As for the speculation surrounding their weekend meetup, Pascal had a poetic take: “That’s her starlight. I’m just basking in it.” Perhaps most tellingly, he added a statement that has fans wondering about the depth of their connection: “I would do anything for Jennifer.”
The timing has raised eyebrows, as the dinner happened just days after Aniston’s ex-husband Justin Theroux married actress Nicole Brydon Bloom in Mexico following their August 2024 engagement.
This isn’t the first time the two have shared a moment that caught public attention. Footage from their Critics Choice Awards red carpet interaction earlier this year shows Pascal reaching for Aniston’s hand, which she clutches in both of hers while mouthing to the camera, “Oh, my God.”
During that same encounter, Reese Witherspoon suggested there was a “really good part” for Pascal on The Morning Show. When a reporter suggested he could play a love interest on the series, Pascal joked this meant he would “sleep with everyone on the show,” to which Aniston responded with the eyebrow-raising comment, “It’s kind of real life.”
While Pascal has maintained relative privacy regarding his dating life over the years (though he’s been previously linked to actresses Maria Dizzia, Lena Headey, and Robin Tunney), Aniston’s romantic history has played out more publicly. Following her marriages to Brad Pitt in 2000 and Justin Theroux in 2015, she has largely kept her love life under wraps since her 2018 divorce.
Interestingly, this isn’t the only dating rumor Aniston has had to contend with recently. She was also caught up in speculation about a relationship with former President Barack Obama, though those claims apparently originated from a satirical article published back in 2014.
Representatives for both stars remained silent when questioned about the nature of their relationship, which only fueled initial curiosity. Social media, meanwhile, was quick to approve of the potential pairing, with one X user enthusiastically declaring, “I’M HERE FOR THIS.”
Pascal is currently focused on the highly anticipated second season of The Last of Us, expected to premiere on HBO and Max in 2025, while Aniston continues her work on Apple TV+’s acclaimed series The Morning Show.
