A Mexican restaurant with locations in Phoenix and Mesa will be featured in an upcoming episode of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” on the Food Network.
PHOENIX — Food Network star Guy Fieri is spotlighting another Valley restaurant on his long-running series.
Tacos Chiwas, a Mexican restaurant with locations in Mesa and Phoenix, recently announced that Fieri paid them a visit for an upcoming segment of “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.”
Many Arizona restaurants have been featured on Fieri’s show over the years, including the Fry Bread House in Phoenix.
Tacos Chiwas will be included in an episode titled “Triple-D Nation: Mex-Italian and Meatless” that will air on the night of Dec. 5.
“A mom-and-pop taco spot in Phoenix isn’t slowing down anytime soon, now at multiple locations and still serving a taste of Chihuahua with lights-out lengua and beefed-up gorditas,” the episode’s description states.
Ahead of Friday’s episode airing, Tacos Chiwas posted photos online of Fieri visiting their restaurant.
