ATLANTA (WJBF) – Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger certified the results of the 2024 Presidential Election on Friday after county certifications and two post-election audits.
“The votes were counted accurately, securely, and quickly,” said Raffensperger. “I’m proud to certify these results and we congratulate President-Elect Donald J. Trump on his victory.”
Raffensperger added, “This was the most secure election in Georgia’s history.”
According to the Secretary of State’s office, audits proved to show consistency with machine tallies which “were reported accurately and reflecting the outcome of the presidential race in Georgia.”
Following Raffensperger’s certification of the results, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp will then certify the slate of electors to Washington D.C.
