ROGERS, Ark. — Peyton Bolling, a high school student from Rogers representing the Natural State as Miss Arkansas’ Teen at the Miss America’s Teen pageant, has taken home the crown.

Bolling is a senior at Bentonville High School and was crowned Miss Arkansas’ Teen in June.

On Jan. 4, during the national Miss America’s Teen competition in Orlando, Bolling became the first winner from Arkansas.

“I am from the Bentonville School District, and their motto is ‘where excellence lives,'” Bolling said. “Since I was young and moved here, I think that striving for excellence and being able to be in the classroom and your teachers wanting what’s best for you kind of shaped me to be the woman I am today and eventually win the crown.”

First runner up went to the representative from Alabama, followed by Mississippi, New Jersey, and Texas.

According to the pageant’s website, Miss America’s Teen is a division of the Miss America program for women ages 13 to 18.
