Roman Reigns doesn’t like everything the President does, but he says his choice was very clear in the 2024 Presidential election.
Reigns spoke with Vanity Fair ahead of WrestleMania 41. During the conversation, author Tom Kludt joked that Reigns could one day run for governor of Florida. Reigns said, “You never know,” with a smirk, before the conversation turned to other WWE-linked political figures.
Reigns , a registered Democrat, says his choice in the 2024 Presidential election was “very clear” and explained why he’s showing support for Donald Trump.
“One person was giving us information. One person was answering questions, so it wasn’t that hard,” Roman Reigns said, before clarifying why he supports Trump.
“I support our president. Trump is one of those guys where he’s got a vast history and a huge background. He’s been in entertainment. He’s been in big business, politics,” Reigns said. “At this point, I’m supporting a bright future for our country. Positive and competent leadership. For us to be what we’re supposed to be—to be a world leader and carry that respect and do what a world power like us should be doing.”
Roman Reigns says he doesn’t support everything Trump does
Despite that, Reigns was clear that he doesn’t support everything Trump does, like starting fights with political rivals.
“It’s like he needs that adversary. He needs that opposition to bounce off of. He needs that competitive motivation or something,” Reigns said. “To be honest, the world seems to be more like wrestling than any other form of entertainment.”
Roman Reigns will face off with CM Punk and Seth Rollins in a triple-threat match in the main event of night one of WrestleMania 41.
