We’ve reached the point in the season when production is needed any way you can find it.

There is no time to be consumed with finding the next big thing on the waiver wire, you need to worry about attacking categories that will help you gain ground on the competition — or keep them at bay.

There are plenty of hot bats available to boost your chances at winning your league.

Lane Thomas’ .236/.334/.403 slash line is nothing to write home about, and his numbers through June looked awful — he hit .217 with five homers, 23 RBIs, 20 runs, four stolen bases and a devilish .666 OPS through 71 games. The 30-year-old Royal, however, has looked like a different player this month, hitting .290 with four homers, 13 RBIs, nine runs, two stolen bases and a .935 OPS in his first 18 games.
