A Seahawks reunion could be in the works for Las Vegas this offseason.

Two days after Pete Carroll reached a long-term agreement to become the Raiders’ next head coach, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that Carroll’s former quarterback in Seattle, Russell Wilson, is a “strong option” to fill Las Vegas’ void under center.

“One of [Carroll’s] good friends is still Russell Wilson, the Steelers quarterback,” Rapoport said on “NFL GameDay” Sunday. “My understanding is Russell Wilson wanted to play for the Raiders last year, which did not happen. Look for that union, potentially, to be discussed.”

Wilson, who played under Carroll for 10 seasons in Seattle, spent the 2024 season in Pittsburgh on a one-year deal.

Although Wilson got off to a hot 6-1 start with the Steelers, taking over for Justin Fields in Week 7 after a lingering calf issue kept him sidelined, Pittsburgh sputtered down the stretch, losing four straight games to end the regular season.

Pittsburgh then endured another early playoff exit in the wild-card round, a 28-14 loss to the Ravens.

Wilson, now entering free agency, previously expressed a desire to remain in Pittsburgh.

Meanwhile, the Raiders saw a rotating door at quarterback with Gardner Minshew, Aidan O’Connell and Desmond Ridder during a dismal 4-13 campaign in 2024.

Las Vegas currently holds the No. 6 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Carroll, 73, agreed to a three-year deal with the Raiders that includes a fourth-year option.

Prior to Rapoport’s report Sunday, The Athletic reported Friday that Wilson — who won Super Bowl 2014 alongside Carroll with the Seahawks — “could be a stopgap while the Raiders develop a long-term answer.”

Wilson threw 16 touchdowns and five interceptions through 11 games in 2024.

Carroll stepped down from his post with the Seahawks after the 2023-24 season.
