The Phoenix Mercury just made one of the most significant WNBA moves of the winter.

In a blockbuster move that is sending shockwaves throughout the WNBA, forward Satou Sabally has been traded from the Dallas Wings to the Mercury in a three-team deal, The Post confirmed.

Sabally, a two-time WNBA All-Star, had been with the Wings since she was selected No. 2 overall in the 2020 WNBA Draft, one spot after Oregon Ducks teammate turned New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu.

The Liberty were among the teams speculated to be interested in Sabally, whose sister Nyara has been in Brooklyn since 2023.

The final version of the deal also sees Phoenix landing Kalani Brown and Sevgi Uzun.

The Wings are acquiring NaLyssa Smith, Ty Harris, the No. 8 overall pick in the upcoming 2025 WNBA Draft and the rights to Mikiah Herbert Harrigan.

The Indiana Fever, who sent out the No. 8 overall pick, along with Smith, will get the No. 19 overall pick in 2025 along with Sophie Cunningham.

The trade is considered one of the most significant roster shifts of the offseason as the Mercury look to position themselves as contenders despite losing long-time cornerstone Brittney Griner, who will sign with the Atlanta Dream in free agency.

This also arrives days after the Mercury notably landed long-time Connecticut Sun star Alyssa Thomas.

This also comes shortly after the Fever added former two-time All-Star and three-time WNBA Champion Natasha Howard.

Sabally, known for her versatility and dynamic play on both ends of the floor, has emerged as one of the league’s most promising talents.
