NEED TO KNOW

  • The temporary restraining order filed against Kelley Wolf by her estranged husband, Scott Wolfe, was dissolved by a Utah judge on July 19

  • The former couple signed a temporary stipulated agreement on July 15 outlining custody arrangements, visitation rights, financial matters and communication guidelines involving their three children

  • The ultimate goal, the agreement claims, is for Kelley to eventually regain unsupervised parenting time

The temporary restraining order actor Scott Wolf filed against his estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, was dismissed July 19 following a new agreement reached just four days earlier in their ongoing divorce proceedings.

According to court documents reviewed by PEOPLE, the July 15 temporary stipulated agreement includes provisions around custody, a temporary restraining order, visitation, finances and communication.

The 57-year-old actor was granted temporary sole physical custody of their three children Jackson, 16; Miller, 12; and Lucy, 11, while Kelley was granted “liberal” supervised parenting time with her children.

Kelley will be permitted supervised parenting time as coordinated by counsel, and three supervised video or phone calls per week with the children during reasonable waking hours. Should the court-appointed guardian raise concerns, all parties must reevaluate whether supervision remains necessary. Kelley is also allowed to respond if the children initiate additional contact.

The temporary stipulated agreement laid out strict communication boundaries: Neither party is permitted to discuss adult issues, the divorce or the children’s relationship with the other parent in front of or with the children. They are also barred from making disparaging remarks verbally or in writing and are prohibited from interrogating the children about what happens at the other parent’s home.

The agreement includes a social media gag order too. Neither party may post about one another, their marriage, children or the divorce, nor allow any third party to do so.

The ultimate goal, the agreement claims, is for Kelley to eventually regain unsupervised parenting time.

As reported on June 26, Scott had been awarded a temporary restraining order on June 25 after alleging that Kelley “engaged in an escalating pattern of behavior that poses a substantial threat of immediate and irreparable harm to the parties’ minor children.” Kelley confirmed she was served with the order June 25.

Per the newly reached agreement, the temporary restraining order has been dissolved and a court hearing set for July 21 had been canceled.

As for housing, Scott will maintain exclusive use of the couple’s Park City home. Kelley’s parenting time may occur there, but only with mutual agreement on a supervisor. She is otherwise barred from entering the property.

Financially, Scott will continue to control marital funds, covering household expenses and temporarily providing Kelley $10,000 per month for living costs contingent on court order or further agreement. He will cover her car payments, minimum payments on credit cards and some attorney fees.

The conflict between the Wolf’s escalated after a June 13 incident in which Kelley was detained by sheriffs in Utah County and placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold under California’s 5150 law, which allows for emergency mental health evaluation. According to court documents, Kelley allegedly had attempted to take the children out of the country and exhibited “behavior sufficient for Kelley to be detained by law enforcement and subsequently placed on an involuntary psychiatric commitment.”

Kelley later confirmed she was placed under an “involuntary 5150,” which is “a critical intervention used to detain individuals who are considered a danger to themselves or others or are gravely disabled due to a mental disorder,” per the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

On July 6, Kelley was placed on a second involuntary psychiatric hold following an incident involving an alleged knife. She was held for a week at a treatment center in Salt Lake City.

This incident came just weeks after Kelley announced she and Scott were separating after 21 years of marriage in a social media post on Tuesday, June 10. The pair first met in 2002 and tied the knot in 2004.

“It is with a heavy heart that Scott and I are moving forward with the dissolution of our marriage,” she wrote at the time. “This has been a long, quiet journey for me — rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children. While I will not speak publicly about the details, I feel peace knowing that I’ve done everything I can to walk this path with integrity and compassion.”

The Real World: New Orleans alum added, “Scott Wolf is one of the best fathers I’ve ever known and one of the best partners a woman could have the privilege of sharing life with. He is kind, thoughtful, funny, and beautiful in spirit. We both look forward to an extraordinary life centered around the most extraordinary children. My priority has always been their wellbeing — and my own healing. That will never change.”

Scott responded shortly after in a statement shared with PEOPLE.

“After 21 years of marriage, I have made the most difficult decision of my life, and filed for divorce from my wife Kelley,” he said. “Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter.”
