See Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi & Mercedes “MJ” Javid’s Epic Reunion Involving Their Sons

Mercedes “MJ” Javid and Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi are still on good terms, and it’s thanks in large part to their shared experience of motherhood.

The Shahs of Sunset moms confirmed this on Thursday, April 17, when GG shared a sweet birthday tribute for MJ’s son, Shams Feight. The Instagram Story showed the 6-year-old boy at a Benihana restaurant alongside GG’s 4-year-old son, Elijah Javad Gharachedaghi.

“Happy birthday Shams!!!” GG captioned the adorable snap. “We love you kiddo!”

MJ — who shares her son with her husband, Tommy Feight — reposted the image on her Instagram, thanking GG and Elijah for the love.

“Thank u my sweet [GG] & Elijah!” she wrote in the reshare.

MJ Javid and GG Gharachedaghi’s Complicated Friendship History

It’s no secret that MJ and GG have had their fair share of drama during and after Shahs of Sunset’s nine-season run. MJ touched on the rocky relationship during her January 2024 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

“Which of your Shah’s pals do you still keep in contact with, Reza [Farahan]?” host Andy Cohen asked.

“Of course, yes, Reza,” MJ responded, before Andy mentioned GG.

“I don’t like to talk to GG,” MJ declared.

The real estate agent didn’t provide details on the fallout, as she simply described GG as “toxic.”

A day after the WWHL episode aired, GG seemingly fired back at MJ on Instagram.

“I take rumors as a compliment,” she wrote in a since-deleted post. “The fact that you’re bringing my name onto tables I don’t sit at shows your obsession. Stay bothered.”

Fast-forward to November 2024, when MJ posted a heartwarming Reel chronicling her years-long friendship with GG. The post showed the pair hanging out at various events, some of which included their children.

“Aaaawe I love this and love you! Thank you Merce!!!” GG wrote in the comments section. “If only people knew what we know… if only they could see a fraction of what we saw and experienced in the last 13 years… let’s give them round 2!”

Fans got another glimpse at the friendship in December 2024, after MJ, GG, and their sons came together for a kid’s birthday party. The former shared the celebratory reunion in a series of photos and videos highlighting Shams and Elijah’s close bond.

“Only Shams can make Eli laugh like that!” GG commented. “Best buds!!!”
